Riverbend Park Video

We're excited to take you on a mini desk vacation to tour our Catawba County Parks with a series of videos produced by Garrick Lane of Table Rock Productions. This week, our trip is to Riverbend Park.

Named after its idyllic location along the Catawba River, this 690-acre park's 19.7-mile trail system winds through two distinct habitats - densely wooded upland forest popular with hikers and preserved native grasslands affectionately known as "trail runner's heaven." Visitors to Riverbend also enjoy river access for paddling, a dog park, and an observation deck perfect for viewing Oxford Dam or casting a line.

Riverbend Park is part of the Catawba County Parks System which also includes Bakers Mountain Park, Mountain Creek Park, and St. Stephens Park. Learn more about each, plus the County's 50+ other parks, at catawbacountyparks.org.
